    • ]]>     During the fall, when it starts to get colder in Norway, my boyfriend and I was walking a lot outside, and it was very cold to hold hands and neither of us had any warm mittens. So I decided to knit some, and a smitten as well. A smitten is two mittens knit together as one mitten with two openings.

    I found the pattern in a knitting magazine. “Sandnes Julehefte” (Sandnes ( a yarn type) Christmasmagazine). I was too eager to get started knitting, so I didn’t bother checking my gauge, so the mittens apear to be a bit long. . . But they are comfy nonetheless.
